| We Always Agreed!!! | HOW WE GOT STARTED! " Once upon a time!"
No, this isn't a fairy tale. Here's how we started...
Four men working for the same insurance company became disenchanted with one Company and not being able to actually help our clients with their complete life and health insurance needs. In March of 1989 we "combined" our efforts and opened our own independent insurance agency specializing in group and individual insurance products. We began seeking appointments with a wide variety of reputable insurance carriers and armed with a few prospects, a folding table, and telephone, we went to work.
It was hard in the beginning, but with each passing years, service to our
customers begin to pay off with their trust and loyalty.
It hasn't always been easy, but it sure has
been interesting. Try keeping four men on the same page and happy!
Eighteen or so years later we can look back and be proud of the progress we've
made. We incorporated our Agency in November of 1990. We have made many changes
along the way. In 2004 an outlet for auto, homeowners, and commercial lines
insurance was made. One of
the original four, Jim Elsom, retired in February 2006.
Each of our officers hold a life and health insurance license in Texas and
Mike Chapman is also licensed in Oklahoma. Rick Jordan is a licensed property
and casualty agent in Texas. Mike Chapman and Roy Gwinn also hold a life and
health insurance counselor's license (consultant) in Texas.
We now have over 79 years of "combined" insurance experience.
